Conclusion

Maline settled in Harmony, Minnesota sometime around 1918. The rest of her family made homes nearby Preston, except her brother Theodore, who stayed in Northwood until his death in 1924.

After all the flirtatious postcards, Maline found love. She married Albert Domrud in 1921, at the age of 39. 

The couple received postcards occasionally. A 1926 Christmas card is addressed to the two of them from “Mr and Mrs. F.A. Pulier” in Canton, Minnesota.
